Polymer errors?
I'm just curious what would be considered an error note on the newer polymer bills. They have an example of a $10 bill that has a "UFO" small Dot. On an online auction canadiancoinsandpapermoney site I noticed a $5 & $10 banknote both graded by cccs "light ink error" $10 "misprint left of 10"missing ink . Lately I have been going through several uncirculated stocks of $5 bills, only found 2 radar notes so far. I also pulled a few side that I found interesting and was wondering people's opinion if they have enough of an error to be sent in for grading and considered for an error designation. Thanks in advance for any input. One has an ink smear or extra ink on lake Superior and I have seven missing ink under the issue date, is on every second note.

Re: Polymer errors?
These are such minor variations, just ask your self what would you pay for these notes. Beware of slight or any ink variations errors, in the printing process the presses are cleaned before each different colour combos, the CBN does not use 5 different stand a lone presses to print our money. The chemicals used to clean the presses are not exactly earth shattering trade secerts, the pressman surely knows the magic sauce

Re: Polymer errors?
I wouldn't pay that much, but someone paid $600 plus for this 10 with a much smaller affected area I think it's kind of silly. Maybe people are willing to pay for these types of variations because it doesn't happen often on the polymer notes? But if I was an expert I wouldn't be asking these questions. Appreciate your reply John1000
