1922 Specimen banknote

Post by Stephanitly » Tue May 09, 2023 2:44 pm

I have a 1922 $10 Specimen banknote and was wondering if anyone would know what it would be worth, the mintage of specimen banknotes. Any information really would be greatly appreciated.

I have attached a photo to this post.
The front says “La Banque Nationale” under that says “ Quebec, LE 2 Novembre 1922”
The value is 10$ and and orange-peachy colour to it. It is not certified no though it has no visible lines, bends its in mint condition in a protective sleeve.
Thank you for your replies/guidance with this guys! Very much appreciated

It’s tricky adding photos on here as I keep getting the error they are too big. Here’s the font photo though.

Being uncertified, the value is hard to determine what the grade is from a photo.
At the Geoffrey Bell spring auction, an uncertified bill similar to yours sold for $100.00 CDN.
There is another uncertified one that sold for $120.00 CDN.
There are some on eBay that the seller is asking more than that but they are certified.
