1973 10 set of $1 Bills

Post by minuteman » Sat Jan 18, 2025 1:21 pm

Hello. I am not really a collector as such, but I do have a few bills and coins I have kept over the years. I just received 10 $1 bills from 1973 and I don't see the SN prefix in the registry and I am wondering on their value. They were purchased just as the dollar bills ended their printing, and have been kept uncirculated and in excellent condition. I have not had them graded professionally, but from what I have gleaned on this site, I would grade them at CUNC and above. I am not looking for a locked in value, but more of a value range. The SN Prefix is AMU and the numbers start in 9943461 - 9943470. Is this anything special, and what would an approximate value be on each vs the complete set? Not sure how to insert an image here, so if that is needed, I would appreciate some tips on that. Thanks in advance.
