Prefix numbers

Post by Skipper » Tue Jan 28, 2025 9:41 am

I'm new to this so excuse me if I'm out of line. I was going through some stuff the other day and came across a $1 bill. I believe it is 1954 or at least that's what is stamped on the face. The two letters are D/I, I assume those are the prefix numbers. I wasn't able to find and info on it and was wondering if I could find out here. :Rechercher:

Try this site, but condition means a great deal for value:
https://www.coinsandcanada.com/banknote ... id_denom=2

You MAY have something worth some nice $$$$

I found this paper money page, but see that you haven't logged back in. You should check out your note using this info: https://cdnpapermoney.com/index.php?topic=8270.0
