1936 dot Canada penny
I just recently came across this 1936 Canada penny. It has been in circulation But looks as if it could have the dot under the date. Just wondering if any buddy could help me verify this. I sent pictures.

Your "dot" is in the wrong place, the wrong size and the wrong shape. Every year, there are 5-6 folks who thought that they found the pot of gold but find that they didn't. Usually they find that they are just die chips, rust pits, or manual addition. Yours looks like a small die chip or pit in the die. Sorry, but keep it as an anomaly.

I noticed the mark between the 3 & 6 but I sent another picture which show the dot better which I was looking at.

Re: 1936 dot Canada penny
The extra picture does not change the fact that it is not a 1936 dot.
Yours chances of finding one are somewhere between zero and nil.
There are only 3 known and they are of Specimen Quality.
There were none put into circulation, it is a waste of time looking for one.
