Hi,

I am brand new in this forum and I would like to sale some coins from my private collection. I have this rare 1 cent 1859 with these caracteristics:

1 cent 1859
• Brass
• Weight: 5 grams
• Diameter: 25.4 mm
• Edge: Smooth
• W9/8 ↑↑
• Double 5
• Triple 9

This coin is maybe one of the last fo it kind. I found it about 25 years ago when I was renovating my old 1832 house. I also have other intersting coins. Thanks.

Whats its grade? Can you show its obverse?

I suggest you to get the coin certified, if you really want to sell it. Sned it to ICCS.

That’s real good advice momomomo. Getting it certified is what you want to do if you want to get a good price. There are two grading companies in Canada, CCCS is another that you can chose from, then there is less question about grade, authentacy and value. (I know from experience) :Étudiant:

Sunopera I was a little confused by your other post but, I think I realise you mis-understood me, it was the (Obverse) of the coin I was asking about, a picture of the Queens bust side of the coin. A closer magnification of the 5 and 9 side (Reverse) also would be nice to see the multiple stamping, also for study.
