Looking to sell some old coins

Post by jk82 » Tue Aug 04, 2020 2:32 pm

Hi, my parents are downsizing to a condo and gave me a bunch of stuff in storage to sell. Attached are pictures of the coins my dad found. Is there any value to them?

my dad used to put tape on the obverse of his small us lincoln coins collection to keep them in place on a sheet of paper. looks like your coins are damaged the same way my dad very little collection was.

Sorry to say that there is not anything of any great value in what you show.
The nickels have no key dates and the fact they are scotch taped would lower any value they have as someone would have to clean off the tape residue.
The two 1937 bills would have a bit of value but not too much as they are not in very good shape.
The 1973 Dollar would probably be worth around $10.00 as it is 50% silver.
Don't see anything of value in the others as some of them are not coins.

Unfortunately nothing with any value for resale, but could be a great start for a kid to get into collecting coins !!! Donate to your local kid's coin club or a relative/friend's child.
