Collection to evaluate or sale.

Post by Marco22 » Sun Nov 29, 2020 10:18 am

Hi I have a collection that I do not know how much is worth. Série of serial numbers. Can you help and if someone is interested please let me know. I have joined pictures but I have more. Like 2$ bills and lots of old coins.
Marc.

I hope you get more input on this but here is my idea of the value you might look at. The 25cent Shin plaster in that condition will probaly sell for between $10 and $15 dollars. The 1973 notes are very common but may bring between about $4 each as most often note that stay in Sequence like that are normaly in good condition. Try not handling them any more then need be and possibly get proper bill holders . your 1954 and 1967 notes hold small premiums over face value but there condition is not great, you would have to have them looked at by a collector as pictures are not great to determine grade from. Good Luck.

I somewhat agree with GBELEC bit I think he may be a little high on his values. In my opinion because of the condition, the shinplaster might be worth 8 or 9 dollars at the most. The 1973 Dollars, because there were Billions
produced are not hard to find in uncirculated condition are probable worth two dollars each, maybe three at the most The 1954 bills because of their condition are probably worth a small premium over face. The 1967 Dollar in that shape is only worth a dollar.
The problem if you are looking to sell them is finding a buyer as they are all fairly common and most collectors would want them in close to uncirculated condition.

I agree with the assessment above. Not much demand for common notes in lower condition.
Your 1973 $1s appear to be a great condition and I suggest they might be good gifts or teaching aids for kids.
