1973 banknote not listed in the database

Post by makecents » Thu Jan 02, 2020 4:33 pm

I noticed on the banknote serial number page, that if the prefix was not shown, to post pics of it here for you to add. I have them but wanted to see if you have file size or pixel limits before I did. Thanks for any help.

Jon.

Hello Jon!

1 Mo max per image.
5 images max per post.

You can do multiple post/reply if you have more than 5 pictures.

Is that "No" max per image or is Mo a file type I'm not familiar with? :D

I apologize. First thread and I'm breaking the rules... I should have waited for a response. The most logical missed key punch, in my mind, was an "M" for an "N", as far as the keyboard goes. Let me know if you deleting my pics and I send you the correct size is better or if you can take care of it on your end.

Your pic is fine. Nobody deleted it. And I don't see any rule broken here. You can post your pics. Serial numbers will be added.

What you have is the common 3 letter prefix. There were over 890 million of this series printed
so they are pretty common.
If you are looking for a value, unless they are a high grade like CU or GU they are only worth face value.

Thank your for your input. I deduced the worth of my note shortly after coming to this site, which is a fantastic wealth of knowledge. I was just trying to help...
