$20 polymer note error
Hi, my name is Mike. I am fairly new to collecting banknotes. I have recently found a $20 bill polymer note with a portion printed in($10) purple. A person on Facebook suggested it was an ink pack explosion. But if you look at the photo I have taken with my microscope it is definitely printed on the bill. I am curious if anyone knows the type of error this is called , if it's rare or worth sending in for grading. Thanks for any help!

Any thoughts?
Re: $20 polymer note error
Send note to BCS or CCCS for grading, it"s either a 40.00 lost or maybe 500 to 1000.00 gain if real, these poly notes are hard to tell about wrong colour and designs, needs confirmation, BCS is in Ontario and CCCS is in Quebec and good luck !

John1000 Thanks, I feel it's worth the $40 gamble to send in. Would be interesting to find out how that kind of mistake is possible. Which of the two grading companies would you suggest or are they basically equal in service?
Re: $20 polymer note error
BCS has recently graded a few poly notes with off colour errors that ended up on recent auctions, but you should contact them first before costly express post or other delivery services back and forth
