Found my second 1996 connected nickel today in my till before I started my shift

Is it supposed to be magnetic? But it isn't sticking to a magnet.

Definitely a great find. I found my first this summer as well. Mine has the die chip on the T in Cents, as well as the major die clash on both sides (called the 'crown on beaver' die clash). I'm hoping to find more!

Just noticed that yours has the die chip on the top of the T in Cents, as well!

This coin is based on Cupro-nickel alloy, which is non-magnetic.
