Hi,
How come the magnetic properties description of all Canadian Loonies from 1987-2012 in the website shows that they are non-magnetic when in fact they are all magnetic ?
Can someone please fix this if it's truly a error? If not please clarify ? This confused me quite a bit at first glance because I though there was some other non recorded variety that I wasn't aware of.
maybe I have the silver version of the coin. I don't know now...
See photo attached of what I'm talking about.

I always thought that nickel was "slightly" magnetic, but nothing like iron/steel.

It's actually fully magnetic just not as magnetic as steel but still very magnetic. Enough to suspend the entire coin on a magnet.
