Hello group!
I've been looking for some information about this coin for a while but no luck
What I have is a 1963 5 cents coin that is pretty much the same size as a quarter, with proportional engraving.
Coin is barely smaller than a 2022 quarter, around 23.5mm vs 23.88.
I don't have a caliper to measure it but it's almost the same, far from the usual 21.2mm.
I'd love to know the story behind this.
Thanks for your help!

Re: Quarter-sized 1963 5 cents
Could you post the weight to two decimal points. This is important in determining what the cause is.
Re: Quarter-sized 1963 5 cents
A kitchen scale is not accurate enough, it has to be In grams to two decimal points.
