Hey guys ,
This one is pretty much self explanatory lol I just wanted to share this beauty, wow this is the first for me lol I have found some pretty bad ones in the past but this I can't say that I have found one like this before lol
Ps. Is there a market for something like this you think?

Can't see it being rot any kind. That is multiplated on a steel core and almost rot resistent.
Besides it would be unusual for it to rot right through in one area without affecting the other areas.
It is some sort of damage, probably intentional, that occured after the nickel left the mint.
There is no market that I know of for damaged coins unless you want to keep it as a curiosity.

It looks like someone drove a chisel or a screwdriver through it, since it has one flat level section. I think a garage or play experiment it that was then buried to rust it up. Not even worth the 5 cents now.

No it looks like it literally melted the metal on the inside melted away leaving a outer layer very thin like tin foil

Where did you hear this false information from.
There is no zinc in that coin, can't be zinc rot. As per my first post, it iis a multiplated steel cent.
It has a steel core covered wih a thin layer of copper and nickel.
Also note the spelling of zinc, not zink.
